M.E.M.A.T. - Making It Happen
The video didn’t get done yesterday, because there are 9 tapes of footage to go through and Chris not only had to watch them all, but he had to analyze each one, decide what to cut, what to keep, how to put it all together, music, etc. He got through 3 ½ videos yesterday, and that was only because he started around 2 o’clock. A lot more will get done today.
We sent some trucks from International Aid to Bob’s Auto Shop in Tallahassee, Florida today, and from there they are going directly to Bay St. Louis, MS. If you personally know of people in your area that are sending supplies, please get contact information for us. We know who to call and where they need to go. Keith and Jeremy just came back from 37 days in the field, going to places like Kiln, Dedeaux, DeRidder, Starks, Bridge City, the places affected by Rita and Katrina that seemed forgotten. These places are the places that need the most. And it’s the other rural communities, the unheard of places, that will need people like these two men to come in and get the job done.
Right now, our prayers are with those soon to be affected by Wilma, and rest assured you will be taken care of as soon as we can get the help to you.
